A Brief History
The King’sway private School (Nur /Pry) located at No. 201`Ilogbo rd came into existence on the 5th of January 1998 with 3 teachers. The school started with 1 student in the day of inception of the school. And the college 7th of September 1998 with all subject teachers including the principals and the V.P’s
The following subject was taught at the beginning: mathematics, English language, Quantitative reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, C.R.K, Social studies, Elementary science, Moral Instruction and vocational aptitude, Geography, Geometry, History, News conversation, Picture reading, Practical- life, Health/Social talk.
The King’sway private school was founded on a sound philosophy of good moral and knowledge. It is aimed at bringing education to the reach of young boys and girls within the state and other states of the federation in an atmosphere of unity conducive for learning so that at the end of their career they will be intellectually, emotionally, morally, physically, and spiritually balanced and be useful to the entire human race.
In disposition of these attributes, hence, The King’sway private school has carefully assembled a highly caring and competent professionals to meet the qualitative needs of our children/wards.
Presently the population of the pupils is about 800(Nur/Pry) and 700(Secondary) and addition to the subject listed above, the following subjects have been introduced into the curriculum of the school in the primary level to enhance the total and effective development of the pupils in all areas, Computer education and phonetics.
